The Center for Research in Electronics, Information Technology and Communications (CCETIC) was established in 2009 at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and Telecommunications.

The research area includes: Signal Processing, Theory of Information Processing and Transmission, Intelligent and Autonomous Electronic Systems, Software Engineering Techniques.

The research center is institutionally accredited.

Structure:

  • Laboratory "Signals, Information and Communications" - research directions:
    • advanced signal processing techniques;
    • coding and information transmission techniques;
    • physical processes’ modeling and simulation techniques;
  • Laboratory "Intelligent Electronic Systems" - research directions:
    • autonomous mobile vehicles;
    • image processingtechniques;
    • embedded electronic systems.

Areas of research and competences:

  • design and build embedded systems (microcontrollers, DSP, FPGA);
  • biomimetic information processing systems for autonomous vehicles;
  • engineering of electronic systems;
  • reliable and fault-tolerant systems;
  • model-based change detection methods;

power electronics and electric drivers (low power converters, converters for photovoltaic and wind generators, variable speed drivers);
